Dry Firing Update

I thought I explained dry firing pretty well here (previous article), but I can’t compete with the stylish way Kirsten Joy Weiss explains it:

She gets one thing wrong, though – you can safely dry-fire your 10/22 without needing snap caps, because of the firing pin stop pin as shown in my earlier article.

So as we go through the coldest February in decades, there’s no excuse for being “rusty” for your matches once the ranges warm up again.
